Notice Concerning Public Hearings – Review of LUMA Energy, LLC and LUMA Energy ServCo, LLC Initial Budgets
April 28, 2021The Energy Bureau of the Puerto Rico Public Service Regulatory Board (“Energy Bureau”), pursuant Act 57-2014, as amended, known as the Puerto Rico Energy Transformation and RELIEF Act, Act 17-2019, known as the Puerto Rico Energy Public Policy Act and Act 38-2017, as amended, known as the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act of the Government of Puerto Rico, proposes to adopt the Regulation for the Evaluation and Approval of Agreements with Electric Service Companies.
On October 19, 2020, the Energy Bureau issued a Proposal for the Regulation for the Evaluation and Approval of Agreements between Electric Service Companies (“Proposed Regulation”). On October 20, 2020, the Energy Bureau issued a Public Notice in which it granted thirty (30) days to any person interested in presenting their written comments. Due to the complexity of the Proposed Regulation and its importance, the Energy Bureau extended the public comment period until December 3, 2020. After evaluating the comments, the Energy Bureau issued a Revised Proposal of the Regulation for the Evaluation and Approval of Agreements with Electric Service Companies (“Revised Proposal”).
The text of the Revised Proposal is available for public scrutiny at the Energy Bureau’s Clerk Office, at the World Plaza Building, 268 Muñoz Rivera Ave., Plaza Level Suite 202, San Juan, PR 00918. The working hours of the Energy Bureau are between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on business days. The Revised Proposal will also be published along this Notice on the Energy Bureau’s Internet website, www.energia.pr.gov.
During a thirty (30) day period, starting from the publication date of this Notice, any interested person shall be able to submit comments in writing about the Revised Proposal.
