The Puerto Rico Energy Commission, pursuant to Act 57-2014, as amended, known as the Puerto Rico Energy Transformation and RELIEF Act, and Act No. 38-2017, known as the Uniform Administrative Procedure Act of the Government of Puerto Rico, will hold a public hearing regarding the Regulation on Microgrid Development (“Regulation”) proposal. The purpose of this Regulation is (i) to provide the regulatory framework for the development of microgrids during the recovery period after hurricane María, and (ii) to establish a structure to guide the development of microgrids in Puerto Rico after the recovery.
The text of the Regulation is available for public scrutiny at the Puerto Rico Energy Commission, located in the Seaborne Building, 268 Muñoz Rivera Ave., Plaza Level Suite 202, Hato Rey, PR 00918. The working hours of the Puerto Rico Energy Commission are between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on business days. The Regulation is also available on the Commission’s internet website, www.energia.pr.gov.
